I’ll be honest: I felt embarrassed that I still had to guide my daughter through the steps every night. I knew it made her feel bad about herself, too. Out of frustration for both of us, I looked for a printable guide I could hang up for her. Most were too childish, and none of them explained the "why."
So, I made it myself. I’m a teacher and illustrator who has worked in curriculum design for years. Breaking down complex tasks is what I do. The night we hung our new guide, it worked immediately. Not only did she master the steps—she finally understood why they mattered.
